Thanksgiving Day Feast!

Today we had so much fun celebrating Thanksgiving with all of our friends. This morning the kids made noodle necklaces. They used green, blue and orange wagon wheels. The kids were very careful so the noodles did not fall off their yarn.

We also prepared for our Thanksgiving feast by making pilgrim and Native American hats. The kids that made the pilgrim hats added a white strip and bucket to the black hat. The kids that made the Native American hats added 4 different colored feathers. The kids were able to wear their hats during our lunch!

Today Ms. Michelle came to see us! First the kids crawled through the white tunnel, then they walked on the stepping circles and finally they laid on the scooter and carried a frog to the "pond." Next, the kids made noodle bracelets for us to wear at our Thanksgiving feast! We used both big and little noodles and put them on our pipe cleaner.
Our story today was "Thanksgiving Mice" by Bethany Roberts. The story described the pilgrims sailing to American. The Native Americans helped the pilgrims plant corn and they celebrated with a big Thanksgiving feast! Before our Thanksgiving feast we practiced the kids favorite Thanksgiving songs.

We had a wonderful time at our Thanksgiving luncheon. It was great to spend time with our TSGI families! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I know I am extremely thankful to be working with your wonderful children!
